I ask people who don't fly, "How can
you not fly when you live in a time in history when you can fly?"
|
|
I was sold on flying as soon as I had a
taste for it.

EAA Chapter
9 is a membership organization of some 100 sport aviation
enthusiasts in Central Ohio.
We are one of more than a thousand chapters worldwide that are part of
the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), with a membership of more
than 170,000, headquartered in
Oshkosh,
Wisconsin.
We are a non-profit volunteer organization
dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of general aviation. We pursue
this goal through a variety of educational activities and programs for
all kinds of aviation enthusiasts.
EAA9 is one of the oldest EAA chapters in the country and was
founded in 1956. In addition
to the monthly meetings, EAA9 offers several benefits.
Members receive the chapter's monthly newsletter and participate
in the online forum, and the chapter hosts fly-ins, visits to nearby
aviation facilities, and social events throughout the year.
We provide programs for novice and experienced flyers alike. And
we participate in programs designed to introduce the non-flying
community to the value and joy of flight.
Chapter members must be members of EAA―you can learn more about the various types of membership available by clicking here.
